"Bill was a very good host, helpful and interesting but not intrusive in any way so our stay was very peaceful in a green setting. The accommodation is very well equipped and the food provisions for breakfast excellent and including local products. Visitors have to be aware that the nearest town of several, Madoc, is 25km away but has all one could wish. "

"Stayed here with my partner and our dog over Labour Day weekend! From prior to checking in Maria was awesome with accommodating our date changes and communicating information about the property and surrounding area. My partner and I had a magical few days enjoying the privacy of the cottage and going on adventures with the numerous attractions around. We would absolutely come back!"

"We had to postpone our trip due to a COVID case, and the owner was extremely helpful and flexible with helping us get rebooked. "This was the perfect spot for a winter family weekend. Two hour drive for those of us coming from Ottawa and 3 hours for those from Hamilton. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It was nice that there was a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. It allowed everyone to have their own space. The kitchen was well equipped, although we would have preferred a regular coffee maker, we brought coffee, but not Kreurig pods and not everyone got coffee on the last day. Great property for snowshoeing...

"The location of the cottage is great. Stayed with our family and friends. Contains 2 renovated clean bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. The place has a lot of cons. The living room is really spacious, but does not have any AC. We had to open windows which do not have mosquito screens (there are a lot of mosquito). There is no dining table too. The recreation room has plenty of games (tennis, table soccer, mini basketball), but everything looks so neglected and damaged. But in general, the house...
