For the price? It’s a solid stay.
The check in was pretty easy and staff seemed to be helpful and approachable. Upon check in the woman at the front desk let me know that guests receive a 10% discount at the diner down the street, which was a nice surprise and was useful during my stay (their food was good - above average diner)
Rooms were clean, AC worked well and the shower pressure was good. Was able to hook up my chrome cast which was a good thing as the tvs do not have access to apps like Netflix/hulu/etc. But still have all the regular channels so not really an issue especially I brought my Chrome cast.
Breakfast is good, pancake machine is a nice change from the countless other hotels that have waffle makers. Donuts, oatmeal, coffee etc is offered. Maybe some apples or bananas would be a good additional option as I don’t recall seeing any but also I skip breakfast often and when i do eat it it’s usually towards the end of service.
They do allow smoking some rooms however it’s kept to the third floor so it doesn’t smell it if you are on the other floor (I’m pretty sensitive to smoke so I was surprised by the lack of smoke odor) anyways, it’s not the Ritz Carlton or the Hyatt but for clean rooms, great service and solid breakfast at that price it’s definitely a great option tbh.
