The reception was nice to recommend restaurants and answer your questions.
I rented a bike before going up there, which is recommended as the location is on a pretty steep hill. My main luggage was stored at a station in Okayama so I could travel light to the Island. I recommend doing that."

"Uno Hotel had amazing service, rooms, views, and sense of calm in our very busy and hectic summer trip to see the Art Islands and Okayama. We were able take 3 separate ferry trips and visit 2 places within Okayama on our 6 night stay. We never went to the onsen, but absolutely loved the area and the little coffee shop in the town that was also a hostel. We will be back!"

"The Cabin was an amazing property - chic, comfortable, right near the Konpira shrine and the Kabuki theater. AND created and managed by a collective of young people in the town! Thoughtful details, great showers, toilets, beds, bedding - we really felt well accommodated. We would definitely stay again, and look forward to the further evolution of the space."

"Lovely and pretty “hotel”, we had a lovely accomodation, so neat and japanese styled. Only con is that it is small for a big suitcase, but we made it work. Perfect area in Naoshima. We would definitely recommend it and come back. "
