First off, I was pretty excited to stay here. It was going to be a spot we could rest and relax for the night before another flight. That didnt turn out to be the case. When we entered the apartment we were hit with a sewage smell that overwhelmed the entire place. We noticed mold patches in the bedroom on the wall and curtains, on the air conditioning unit, as well as black mold in the shower grout. Plus the toilet was leaking water on the bathroom floor. This was not the relaxing spot we had invisioned from the reviews and photos we have seen previously. While the decor is cute, under the surface its a health hazard. With me being immune compromised we declided to cut our losses and went to a hotel we knew was clean and safe. Keep in mind, this was the only hotel we chose to leave while in Vietnam. We let managment know and they were confused and said they would check the room. An hour later they sent me a message telling me the mold was "paint peeling"... and their was no smell, the toilet wasnt leaking etc... I was going to be nice and not write my review because I know its how they make their living, but gaslighting your guests instead of taking responsibility and correcting the issue is beyond insane to me. Do better.
Shout out to Le Jardin Hotel & Spa who saved the day and went above and beyond for us.
