The hotel is a historic building and very charming, but the rooms are not soundproof. You can hear walking and talking from nearby rooms and upstairs, but being in the center of town was worth it. We had a great view of the changing of the guards!"

Værst: En mandlig personale banker på vores dør og forsøger at komme ind på vores værelse om aften/nat imens vi sover (familie med barn). Meget utrygt."

"The room was lovely - big, bright and airy - and the beds were really comfy. However, some of the fittings were looking rather tired (torn curtains, flaking paintwork) and there were missing skirting boards. We also never found the switch for the lights in the bathroom! The cleaning wasn't very thorough - the inside of the fridge was dirty/stained and the drawers of the bathroom cabinet were awful. It was located in a nice area, which felt very safe and parking was easy. It's about a 25 minute...

"We loved staying in this gorgeous historic inn (established 1106). Our spacious room had lots of character but had also been thoroughly updated for comfort. The bathroom was great, and looked onto an old turnpike stone. Just remember to close the blind before you undress as the large windows reveal all to the neighbours. Super convenient for Heathrow & Windsor and a really nice place to spend a night or two."

very nice place. Very friendly only problem was the shower configuration is quite dangerous. It’s a step up over a tall bathtub and the half glass shower door shirt swings out gets the floor wet, which proves dangerous."

Top floor restaurant was cosy, but price/compare, a 10 % discount when you are referred to by Moxy, would be in place. And staying at Moxy many time, with no referal, then I think you have an opportunity there. "

"Great location. But sadly, the hotel lobby right beside the bar had a super loud Xmas party which was so loud it was hard to even communicate with the reception staff.
Thin ish walls - felt I could hear the next room and a bit of the downstairs music - and there was a 24/7 buzzing noise from the bathroom. Staff were friendly though. "

We booked three rooms for one night( last-minute) , one was perfect, one had some smell and the last one had a broken AC ( they brought fans which worked out) the beds were comfortable. The lobby is very nice, clean and updated. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The shuttle to the airport was convenient but not free, so we took an uber. Will consider staying again. "
