This property was very clean, had friendly staff, and offered a very good breakfast. Some of the patrons seemed to be regulars. The hotel is conveniently close to the QEW (highway), but that can also makes its environs less appealing visually and a bit noisy. Fortunately, it was not particularly noisy indoors. The carpet in my room had been patched rather poorly; it probably needs replacing. Anyone staying at this location would need access to a vehicle because it is not close to downtown Burlington, so food choices and shopping opportunities are limited.

I left after 2 hours- they charged me $170 for a suite I didn’t ask for. The tub was gross and the bathroom light was falling apart. I felt unsafe.

I truly enjoyed my stay the Admiral Inn. Very clean and quiet. An excellent breakfast with hot food. The room is spacious and a comfortable bed. I will return in the future.

Excellent buffet breakfast. Very nice clean room. Wasn't happy that the lawn maintenance contractor sprayed the side of my car with grass clippings from his grass trimmer. I reported it to the reception desk.

Exceptional value with a well above average experience. Was very pleasantly surprised with everything at this hotel, for the money by far best value hotel I have stayed at in years. Hot breakfast and very clean. All staff were great!

Upon arriving at the hotel the reception finished with guests before us. It took her another couple minutes before she acknowledged me to check in. Not even I’ll be right with you We got into Our room which was spacious enough, we got settled in and got ready to leave for the evening. In preparing to leave we noticed corn nuts and other food all over the carpet and fingerprints on the mirrored doors. The windows which were quite small let in very little light were so dirty you couldn’t even see out them We didn’t have time to go down and ask to switch rooms so we figured it is what it is. We got in around 1 ish from a birthday celebration and were quite tired. If I had known the night before that we were overtop of the stairwell outside door I would have requested a change. Every time someone went in and out of the door it slammed and woke us up.i tried earplugs but that did nothing to help Needless to say that started at 620 am and was non stop. I gave up at 930 and decided it was time to just head home and try to take a nap. The hallway upstairs stunk of marijuana the whole time we were there I checked out and it was the same lady who checked us in. She did not ask how things were how the stay was…… nothing not a word. Very disappointing when you spend $170 for the night…. Was NOT worth it I DO NOT recommend staying here. I know I won’t be back. Very disappointed

PROS: The rooms are clean, tidy, and nice. I liked that there was staff available 24/7 and that they dealt with problems immediately. The room had issues with dying or missing light bulbs, and they immediately replaced them with new ones. Great! The cleaning staff respected my privacy when I put the sign up, and they knocked and asked if anyone was inside when I forgot to put up the do not disturb sign. Great! The breakfast is included, delicious, and is available from 7-something until 10:00 a.m. All of the staff are friendly and are willing to help you (if they are able) if you speak to them with kindness and respect. CONS: The down sides are not really their fault. They are located by the QEW. So there is some noise from the QEW. The rooms are only moderately sound-proof, so you won't hear most things if your neighbours are quiet and talk at a normal volume. If you have noisey neighbours or neighours who talk loudly or blast music, then you will definitely hear them. (I had noisy neighbours on the last night of my stay.) There is (insofar as I could tell) no elevator. So if you have mobility issues, you'll need to make sure you book a room on the ground floor. If you rely on local transit, please be aware that the bus system does not run in that area on weekends and on holidays. The nearest stop to running buses is quite a long walk away. (I also recommend visitors who are staying in Burlington and the GTA to invest in a PRESTO card. It'll save you money.)

Unfortunately, it was quite noisy. I reported it to the fellow at the front desk. He came up twice and requested the various people in the rooms to be quiet. I actually wanted to move rooms but there were none available. (It was so bad I was thinking of leaving but neighbouring hotels were also full) By 10:30 pm the noise lessened and I was able to sleep. It was not the hotel's fault and the desk fellow took action but it was unpleasant.

We are from this area but moved to area near Ottawa about 15 yrs ago. Still come down to Burlington and stay at the Admiral Inn. It convenient, clean, the staff are very friendly and eager to please. The free breakfast is great and always available.

If you need a basic stay then this works. We found the gentlemen working the front desk rude. The room was dirty and in need of some repairs. The toilet had not been flushed and the room smelt like someone literally had just left (like body odour). The sink had what looked like weed in it. The free breakfast was good and the staff working in there were always cleaning around and friendly. It was handy to be able to see your vehicle outside of the room and the location was convenient. The room was very cluttered and made it difficult to move around with the amount of furniture in it. We wont be staying there again.
