"Wir hatten einen rundum wunderschönen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das Personal war jederzeit unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich – man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Das Essen war durchweg hervorragend, ganz besonders das Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offenließ und ein echtes Highlight für uns war. Unser Zimmer war immer sehr sauber, super gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Auch das Bad war ausreichend groß und modern gestaltet, sodass man sich rundum wohlfühlen konnte. Der...

"A bit late but we had a great stay. Highlight was Kumara the yoga teacher who adjusted the level as i was the only one that turned up. Guys around the resturant pool were good. And the office lady who helped me off site when she was walking hone and i had an issue."

"Vi sov en enkelt nat på Asien Juwel og vi var ret vilde med stedet. Der var meget rent og pænt og restauranten på hotellet laver en meget lækker mad. Faktisk den bedste vi fik i Hikkaduwa. Virkelig sød betjening, fin pool, rene og fine værelser (dog er sengen lidt hård - men tag gerne det med) :-)"

"Perfect place for our first location in Sri Lanka. We stayed three nights and loved it. Very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very welcoming and the quality of the Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner was amazing. We can also recommend the Katamaran tour in the lagoon. Free shuttle to the empty beach also worked great. Would always return here."

"Heel schoon en comfortabel verblijf. Hele goede wifi, en Airconditioning 2 schone zwembaden mooi aangelegde tuin. Op korte loopafstand van de hoofdweg met veel restaurants. Ontbijt beschikbaar en op zich goed.. maar traag gereserveerd en verkeerde volgorde. Eerst Fruit dan na 10 minuten het Ei, dan na 10 minuten de toast en de koffie en fruitsap pas na 40 minuten... Maar zou er zo weer terug keren... prima."

"The owner/host and housekeeping staff were very friendly and nice to talk to. They can arrange tuk tuk for the guests and home style food was so delicous. Due to its location, guests will need to have insects repellent spray applied at all time. Overall very nice stay at villa birdlake. "

"Natscha and her assistant Ajit run this wonderful small guesthouse. If you are looking for an authentic, local experience then stay here. But, it is not that easy to get to, The road to the bungalow is largely unpaved and steep but, for us, that was all part of the attraction. The surroundings are beautiful - lush green jungle, beautiful rice paddies, local temples etc. But, if you don't have your own vehicle then it is not possible to get out at night. The cuisine is local and very good....
