It was so helpful to have a stocked kitchen, large table (big enough for everyone to eat around), and a washer and dryer. The game room was an added bonus! The trail around the house was really the only place to explore near the house. The roads are narrow, so walking or biking were not safe. "We had an amazing time! We were able to fully utilize the kitchen and grill to prepare meals throughout the whole weekend as the appliances worked and there was enough cooking ware for our needs. The bathrooms were clean and the hot tub was nice! The table games in the basement were fun to use too!Some of the doors were hard to fully close and/or lock. The lock box at the front door was finicky too. There was a broken step down to the river that should be fixed as it's currently a hazard"

"This is a beautiful home in a secluded neighborhood with access to the Potomac River. The house is about 10 minutes from all of the things you would want to do in the Harper’s Ferry Historic area. The house is furnished and decorated very nicely and the kitchen has everything you will need for preparing & serving meals. It is a very peaceful location with lots of deer and opportunities to relax. "
