"This is a very nice hotel. I did not expect a lot because Ha Giang is not huge for tourism, and, to be honest, the room rates were not expensive. However, i was delighted to find myself in a lovely hotel, modern, clean, well-maintained. Our room was great, with double aspect windows, a good size, modern bathroom. The buffet breakfast was good with plenty of choices. The staff at reception were very helpful & spoke good English (I did not expect that!) They organised a car & driver for us...

Bus from sapa drops you outside door.
Staff very friendly and helpful and helped me book a cheaper bus to cao bang than i was going to.
Around 30 minute walk into centre but many places to each closer than that.
I would definitely stay again."

"Great host; Ali helped me enormously with my self drive loop.
We’ve rented the bikes from him (which were great) and he helped us with all the recommended stops and the dos and donts of the trip.
When we came back he was again super helpful and offered us a room (for free) for us to take a shower, etc. until our transport arrived.
Strongly recommended!"

We could not find the staff at the reception. She was sleeping not far from the reception. We called the number on the desk but she declined the call. We sent a message to say we were at the reception. She liked it but did not reply. We had to assume the receptionist was the person sleeping not far from the reception once we saw her.
