Hoteller nær HMCS Haida National Historic Site

"Only stayed here for half a night, but it was very lovely. Staff were super nice. The commonsroom was very pretty, and the atmosphere were more personal than with other hostels, since so few people were staying there. I was allowed to just leave without checking out, which were useful for me since I had to catch a plane early at Toronto's airport. There's a bus closeby that goes straight to the airport every hour both day and night, which makes this hostel a cheaper (and more cozy) alternative...

"The price was the best of a bad lot. Even cheap hotels with no amenities feel free to gouge. They charge the maximum for a security deposit. The single employee at the desk was very accommodating, but for a poor business. Everything looked clean, we hope it really was. In a room with 2 queen beds, there was 1 skinny “towel” (rag, really) in the bath. No bath mat. No cups provided for teeth brushing or drinking. Telephone was a broken ancient model so we couldn’t call for our needs. No hangers...

"I loved everything about Rose Arden. I had a very comfortable overnight stay in a single room in a lovely home that was perfect for my visit with an old friend who lived nearby. It was great value and in a beautiful quiet location with an amazing view. The host couldn't have been more helpful. And the breakfast was wonderful. If I visit Hamilton again I’ll definitely want to stay at Rose Arden."

"The hotel has taken a security deposit from our credit card which they have not paid us back. When we call and talk to the reception they keep saying that we will get our money back but this hasn't happen yet (1 month after check our). The room and service was as expected for this price class. "

"The most disgusting booking of our entire trip. We planned to stat at Super 8 before we headed to our next destination and we were absolutely appalled by the sight of our room. Even worse was the engrained smell of smoke. We instantly booked a different place to stay. The receptionist Aziz said we could get a refund, but boy oh bye it has been a trip to get a confirmation from them to hotels in order for us to get our money back.
