"Too bad that 5 stars is the maximum! This property is so welcoming as are the hosts. Our room was beautifully appointed, comfortable, and spacious. The option to open the windows provided fresh air and easy sleeping. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Anna, who we soon learned is also the chef. No need to seek a restaurant in the area since the manor's dining room featured delicious dinners and convenience for breakfast. We stayed for two nights and were sad to leave such a splendid place."

"A beautiful building with rooms both inside and in the grounds. I stayed in the Garden Suite that had a parking area right in front. One big room with a huge bed, table and two chairs in the kitchen area. Coffee maker and kettle, microwave. Small bathroom but well appointed. Only one negative - only three forks in the drawer, no knives or spoons. Plates, glasses and cups in the cupboard. I would stay again."

"We had to book this last minute for a 4 night stay. Staff worked hard to get us checked in earlier than promised and they and the staff at Justamere Cafe, the attached restaurant, were top notch with making us feel welcome and taking care of all our needs. Five stars!"

"The Marmalade Motel is in a gorgeous location with rooms looking across the bay and a lovely deck per room to enjoy the views from outside. The room has all you could need, with fridge, coffee machine, tea bags, and is well sized. The bed is nice though quite squeaky. For exploring the east coast of Nova Scotia it's a great spot. Would stay here again."

"Check in was seamless! Our room was beautifully decorated, spotless & comfortable!! We enjoyed sitting outside and walking the property to the water. We enjoyed dinner at a nearby restaurant and the locals were friendly and spoke well of the hotel owners. We never met them, but commend them on a beautifully ran business. We’d definitely stay again whenever in the area!"

"Food was absolutely amazing and the service we received from Akshit was beyond anything we could of ever imagined. He made or stay over the top. It's a great resort and has many options to choose from. Comfortable room with lots of space and we had a suite. We wish we could of stayed longer. Also the entertainment was fantastic. Great time all around but Akshit made the difference for us. "
