However, a volcano meant that our flight turned around 30 minutes before we were supposed to land in Manado. We couldn’t use our reservation. "For a budget hotel it was absolutely fine. Quite new still so not grotty. We were at end of corridor but others on floor were very noisy at all hours and sound travelled well!

Bed sheets were stained and there is a club nearby which doesn’t stop making loud music so you don’t get any sleep "
