Nice place

We enjoyed our stay and the property. The unit could have been cleaned better. There was a decent amount of sand from the previous tenant, the washing machine had an odor, there was urine on the bottom of the toilet that I cleaned because I smelled pee, I also washed the shower liner because it had mold on it. There was also roaches on the balcony and around the complex. Overall it was nice just the cleanliness could have been better.

Beautiful condo on the beach

This 2 bedroom condo was perfect for our week stay in Alabama. It’s right on the beach, a nice pool and hot tub and very clean. The washing machine and dryer in the unit was an added plus as we were there for a baseball tournament. If we go back this is where we will stay!

Mother/daughter trip

Upon arriving there was an overwhelming chemical smell in the condo. We later determined the unit had been exterminated on the previous Thursday and was closed up until we arrived on Sunday afternoon. We tried several things to eliminate the smell but it was so bad you could taste it and gradually lessened towards the end of our visit. We saw at least 3 roaches in the unit. The owner offered to move us to another unit but we had already unpacked and been to the grocery store after a full days drive and were not up to repacking, relocating and unpacking again for a 5 day visit. Three senior citizens. Also the patio furniture was different than 3 chairs shown in pics and only had to 2 comfortable chairs for 3 guests. One of the 2 elevators was not functioning the entire visit. The unit is nicely decorated and comfortable otherwise. Great location.

Great beach getaway!

The condo which was well decorated and welcoming was well located in a quiet section of the building. The electric fireplace was a nice touch and the balcony overlooking the gulf was everything we had hoped. We never had to leave the property. But if we did we can walk to restaurants, coffee shop and more! Angela was a pleasure to deal with. Easily accessible and extremely accommodating!

Great vacation!

Property has everything you need! Beautiful views, it was great communication with the host. Furniture and house could use a deep clean. Bring your own blankets when they use “disposable” bedding. It can get chilly. We will be back for sure!

Great stay!

This is our third year in a row staying at Angela’s place for spring break. We love it so much we keep coming back! The only issue is I have a family member who is handicapped and cannot walk up stairs. We had elevator issues last year as well and this year for most of our stay we had to walk around the building to use the only one working elevator. I know this is out of Angela’s hands and she was very prompt to get us answers to try and get it fixed. Ease of accessibility is the main concern for our family’s stay. Other than that, our family loves this place and would recommend it!

Lovely Getaway

I think someone has written this before, but Angela and Ron’s Sea Glass condo is everything you need, and nothing you don’t. It is the perfect size for my family of 3, and checked my one required box of being able to hear and see the water at all times, among other boxes. The condo is clean, and walkable to restaurants, etc. I will say, if you’re planning to cook, make sure you bring things you need to have to do that. This includes oil, salt, pepper. Knowing ahead of time that those things wouldn’t be in the condo helped us plan, so it wasn’t an issue for us. We had a delightful stay.

Great condo

Second stay

This is our second time staying in this condo and it is truly one of the best parts of our trip. It’s super clean, Angela is great to communicate with, the view is beautiful and it is centrally located. The first time we came they were doing construction and this time (the second time) we got trapped in the elevator & the local fire department had to come get us out. The other elevator was broken the whole trip (which was a week and there were only two elevators). I understand things happen and we were just unlucky. The condo itself is great, the property could use some technical improvements :) We will be staying here again because we love the communication and the condo so much!

Vacation

The condo was very cute with a beautiful view. Very clean and stocked with anything you would need. It is very close to local entertainment, grocery stores and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Sea Glass

This was my first experience using VRBO and we were not disappointed! This condo is gorgeous! Beautifully decorated, the view is stunning and you are right on the beach! It was so clean and I am very picky about that! Communication with the owner was great, very responsive. I would definitely recommend!

Beautiful Condo and Great Location

This condo has a gorgeous view of the gulf. It was extremely clean and in a great location. We have no complaints! The beach access was private and the pool was great! We would love to stay there again! The construction of the second phase did not bother us at all. The workers stayed out of everyone’s way and were very polite.

The facility is beautiful and the access to the beach with top notch. I love the area and the beach was not crowded at all for a memorial day weekend. Angela was very attentive to any questions I had, and was so prompt. I will be back to her unit and refer all of my friends. Thank you Angela for a wonderful weekend. !!

Perfect locatio

Condo was very nice and new. Beds were comfortable. You cant get any closer to the sand. It will be extremely nice when all the construction is done. The pool is really nice.

I have been staying in condos in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach for the last 10+ years, and this is the first negative review I’ve ever had to write. This condo looks nothing like the online photos. When we pulled up, we didn’t even recognize it. When they say there is construction, they mean that the whole condo complex is still being built. There is a section of condos in the back that have been completed but you’d never guess that the place was inhabitable, & it shouldn’t be. Even when completed, the complex is not going to look like the photo in this listing. There are construction guys working all around the pool. My biggest concern was an extension cord dangling above the hot tub/pool area. It’s definitely an electrocution hazard. (Not that you’d want to use the hot tub since the water was lukewarm.) The half bath fan and dining chandelier don’t always come on when you flip the switch. Maybe a wiring issue? Construction vehicles blocked the parking area. Other than the pool/hot tub, this condo offers no amenities. No indoor pool, no exercise room, no tennis court. (Things other condos at this price point offer.) We knew this, but assumed it must be a wonderful condo, based on the price. It wasn’t. The primary bedroom has a window but you can’t open the blind because outside the window is the hallway outside the front door with people walking by. The second bedroom should not even be considered a bedroom. There is no closet and no window. There is nowhere to store clothes. The room is closed off by a pocket door that doesn’t close tightly offering little privacy. There is only one shower/tub in this condo and it’s small. It has an awkward Jack and Jill situation between the primary bedroom and the hallway. We couldn’t find a way to turn on the fireplace. Despite the construction, the condo is small. At this price point, you can get much nicer condos elsewhere, with many amenities, a primary bedroom with a view and en-suite bathrooms for each bedroom. We feel like we were misled and sold a false bill of goods. The online photos are not what you get. Even when the condo is completed, it won’t be worth what they’re charging.

Under construction

Checking in I was blocked by a tractor and could not get to parking space. Getting up to the unit it was surrounded by construction and unfinished units. The pool area was completely surrounded by construction and seemed unsafe. In the morning we woke up to early morning construction drills and loud banging. Once this condominium is done it will be beautiful. But for the price I paid I expected there to be less inconvenience.
