Probably won’t use Liquid Life again…
We came down early on the day of check-in and was met with a text message from the ownership group that the elevators were down and there was currently no estimate for repair completion. We were staying on the 7th floor yet were told this was an amenity and that Liquid Life owes us no form of compensation for this issue. I completely understand malfunctioning equipment such as an elevator isn’t on the responsibility of the VRBO owner, but the actions of Liquid Life didn’t set right with me. There is a time frame where you could get a full refund for this trip, but the extremely delayed update from the host made it where making new plans for my vacation were impossible(the day of arrival). With that being said I decided to ask VRBO support if I were entitled to anything due to this issue and after a day I was offered 20% my entire stay(2xx) or I could checkout that day and get a full refund(I’m already 8 hours away from home on vacation). After asking around to others who was staying at the Crystal Shores west building how their non liquid life host resolved the situation for them I was told they received 100% refund on their stay and got to stay the remainder of said trip or were relocated to another condo. It is a shame that everything else were so well done here because this major inconvenience made what was supposed to be a relaxing beachfront vacation a strenuous nightmare. My fiancé and I both left the condo with sore backs, knees, and ankles from this issue.
