Beachfront In Fort Morgan

Welcome to Sunset! This 3 bedroom, 2 bath beachfront cottage has undergone a complete facelift. When you arrive, you'll find new exterior paint, roof, interior paint, flooring, kitchen and more. Be one of the first guests to stay in this newly renovated gem.

Step outside and you'll find nothing between the deck and the water but beautiful white sand and the occasional sea shell. You'll want to start the day with coffee on the deck and end the day gazing at the gorgeous Alabama sunset with your beverage of choice in hand. This home is aptly named and if you haven't experienced an Alabama sunset, you'll soon find out why!

The first floor boasts loads of windows which means the views just keep on coming! Comfortable furniture, a roomy dining table (4 chairs) and breakfast bar (4 bar stools) mean that everyone has space to enjoy whatever activity they like. The ample kitchen features granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Solid surface flooring throughout helps makes clean up a breeze.

You'll find two well appointed bedrooms on the first level. One room contains a King bedroom and the other a Full over Full and Twin over Twin bunk. These two bedrooms share an updated hall bath.

The master suite is located upstairs. You'll love retreating to this room at the end of a fun day. In addition to the king sized bed, you'll find a jetted tub with spectacular views of the gulf. Imagine soaking in a soothing jetted tub, cocktail in hand, watching the sun set into the Gulf! A double vanity, a shower with double rainfall shower heads and a private water closet complete this private oasis.

Sunset is located in Fort Morgan so you'll have plenty of great options for dining out, should you choose to do so. But, this well equipped kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare simple meals in, if you desire.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon & had our small wedding on the beach in front of the home. The house was so clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you may need-pots/pans, crockpot, toaster oven, etc. The view was absolutely beautiful! The property manager was fantastic! Can’t recommend this home enough!

Everything was great (view, location, recent renovation is well done, plenty of kitchen supplies, it was clean). However, we didn’t like the master mattress at all. We moved downstairs where it was a bit better. And evidently I’m the only one to complain about it so maybe it was just me. Everything else was great.

The floors needed more attention. There is only a broom, so a vacuum would be helpful. We found medication on the floor of one bedroom. The dryer needs IMMEDIATE attention. We feel there is an obstruction in exhaust. It would never get very hot, took a long time to dry and curiously, the was little lint in the trap. The kitchen could use some glass bowls for the microwave. The upstairs bedroom could really use a chair or two for “mature” adults who need to sit to put on shoes, etc. We reported the leak in the patio door. There was a little confusion as to if we were to take trash to road or just put in can, so if you will make that clear , it would be helpful.

Beautiful house with everything you need

This house is beautiful inside and out! It had all the amenities we needed and more; and it's right on the beach with amazing views. You can sit outside on the covered porch, or higher up on the uncovered balcony, or enjoy all the natural lighting inside from all the large windows. Beds were comfortable and appliances worked well. Overall a great place to stay!

Wonderful! Would stay here again.

This property is beautiful, updated, and stylish. It was easy to find. Quick walk to the beach. The windows are big and generous through the house, affording great views! It had a pleasant, neutral smell. It was very clean. Nice having both the keurig and regular pot. The bunk beds are nice and spacious and there's actually room for the kids to sit on the lower one without bumping their heads. The laundry room is nice - full size washer and dryer. The mattress in the master is VERY squeaky on the side by the bathroom. A couple suggestions to other renters - bring hand soap for the sinks. There's just scented body bars. Bring night lights.. It's very dark and there's only overhead lighting, none by the bed that you can cut on. A couple suggestions to the owner if you see this! Nightstand lamps by the bed upstairs would be helpful. (Once you cut off the overhead light, which is the only one in the room, it's pitch dark trying to walk back to the bed.) The upstairs master has zero furniture which makes a sleek look but there's nowhere to set items. Perhaps add some luggage racks since there's no dresser or furniture to sit suitcases on?

Beautiful property right on the beach

We loved our stay at this property. It was right on the beach at a section where it is not overcrowded. The house was a great set up with an amazing suite upstairs. My only note to other renters is that the address will not show up on Google or Apple Maps; it will change the Highway name but not the Highway number. This will take you to the correct driveway but wrong house. There is another house on this driveway (not on the beach) with the same house number - just go to the correct house on the beach as shown in the pictures and the door code will work. Hopefully they can update Apple and Google maps to show the correct address. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful home but beach access for others.

We really enjoyed our stay here and all the home had to offer. One down side we were not aware of was the “beach access” right along the house. So when we arrived and the whole time we were there we had people walking through and had canopies directly in front of our vaca spot due to the apartments behind us. :/ Other than that, beautiful home and perfect for our little family.

A Beautiful Property: The best way to truly get away

We wanted to explore the Alabama coast and find a place where we can sit and enjoy the beach, the water, and each other. We did just that. My kids loved playing on the beach. Though the tide was a bit too strong for us to play in the water, walking along the edge of the beach was enough to scratch the itch. We loved the home; it had everything we needed and we we hope we can come back again.

Early Spring Break

This house suited our needs fairly well; mother & father in-law, 3 school aged children, husband & myself. Everyone had enough space for playing, eating, lounging, sleeping, etc. Can't beat the fabulous view or the very short distance to the beach....location is key for us! Our spring break seems to be early, so the weather is hit or miss but being on the beach is always a hit and not being in a super crowded area makes everyone happy :)

Perfect for our family

We had a wonderful trip! The location cannot be beat. Access to the beach was so easy. The house was beautiful with amazing views of the beach. It was a perfect vacation for our family of 5!

The property location was fantastic and just what we were looking for. Loved all the windows and views. It was not a problem, but I would have liked to see the home a little cleaner. It was okay, but needs a little more effort. For example, there was dirt and trash under the beds. The ice maker didn't work. Regardless, we would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Perfect getaway!

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary at Sunset in Gulf Shores this past week. We had a wonderful stay. We watched the dolphins come in and out and play. The sunrises and sunsets were so beautiful and the water was the perfect temperature. Highly recommend! We can’t wait to come back.
