No instructions provided about parking. Eventually we found parking passes in the kitchen. Annoying, but no big deal. The condo itself was nice. Very clean, the view of the beach and balcony were great. It’s not far to the beach and the building was quiet. However, there were NO blankets in the condo. Not one. We reached out to Vacasa multiple times, they replied with an email in somewhat of a timely manner. We relayed that we opened every door that was not locked, and opened every cupboard looking for blankets. The only extra linens provided were two flat sheets for the pull out sofa bed. Over the course of our stay, Vacasa did email us back with the same automated response, we apologize for the delay, we are experiencing high volumes of emails at this time. At no point did someone bring us blankets or arrange for it. Vacasa “reached out to the local team.” We should have adequate linens. We turned the air up but then it was stuffy. Thankfully, we had our beach towels to keep us warm at night. The most maddening part? The last email I received was AFTER we had checked out, and Vacasa stated they saw we were “assisted”. Clearly at no point had anyone read the previous and multiple correspondence between myself and Vacasa. In essence, Vacasa told us they were glad the situation was resolved. I informed them it was in fact, not resolved and we had already checked out. Their reply was that they were going to look into it. AGAIN, no one had read anything and I told them yet again we had checked out and waited in vain three days for blankets. One kitchen garbage bag was provided and several tiny bathroom trash bags. There is an iron but no ironing board. We had to put towels on the countertop in an attempt to iron our clothes. The instructions for garbage said that there were garbage chutes on each floor, this isn’t true, you have to go the parking lot where the dumpsters are located. The outdoor showers do not work. The water hoses does not work, not a big deal if you don’t care about sand being on everything when you return to your room. We were told “please be patient”. At no point were we rude or demanding. We simply asked for blankets, repeatedly. Overall, the condo itself was nice but it was a barrage of little things that made it so unpleasant, and we wouldn’t stay there again. Sadly, Vacasa seems to have this reputation the more I read online about them. Evidently, poor communication and subpar problem resolution is acceptable.
