Citadel - Pet Friendly, Beachfront Home

Welcome to Citadel, a 5 bedroom/4 bathroom home located on the quiet Fort Morgan side of Gulf Shores. Citadel is situated directly on the pristine beach just steps from gorgeous water for swimming, surf fishing, kayaking, or paddle boarding. Citadel is literally the closest home on our rental program to the Gulf, you can see the lighthouse from the balcony!! Beautiful updates just completed include a balcony dining ledge to enjoy meals with the best view of the Gulf of Mexico!

About Citadel
Access to this beautiful home is from the 1st floor balcony. On the balcony, guests will enjoy outdoor meals at the picnic table cooked on the provided charcoal grill. The outdoor furniture and TV are perfect for watching a game or a family movie. The oversized Adirondack chairs are the perfect place to enjoy your favorite beverage and the amazing Gulf views.

Inside on the first floor of the home guests will find the living, kitchen, dining, and laundry rooms. The fantastic Gulf views from all rooms and balcony access are sure to be a favorite. The fully stocked kitchen with stainless appliances will make meal prep a dream. The large picnic-type dining table provides ample dining space for large families. The Master bedroom is located on this floor at the west end of the home featuring a king-size bed sleeping 2 guests, TV, balcony access, and an attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. The bathroom has a 2nd entrance and is shared with the common area of the 1st floor.

The 2nd floor has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Starting on the East side, Bedroom #2 has a queen-size bed that sleeps 2 guests, a TV, shared balcony access, and a private attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. Bedroom #3 has a full over full bunk bed that sleeps 4 guests, a TV, and shared balcony access with Bedroom #2. This bedroom shares the hall bathroom with guest bedroom #4 and has a tub/shower combo. Bedroom # 4 has a full over full bunk bed sleeping 4 guests, TV, and shared balcony access with guest bedroom #5. Bedroom #5 has a queen-size bed sleeping 2 guests, a TV, shared balcony access, and a private attached bathroom with a walk in shower.

This house is a great find! Closest house to the Gulf! Nice in every aspect! Comfy furniture, comfy beds, very well stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. Out door sitting areas are fabulous with enough furniture for everyone. Even an outdoor TV. Definitely would stay again! Close to the end of Ft Morgan....So if you want to stay away from the condos and business of Gulf Shores and just want to enjoy the beach, this is the place to stay.

This is an absolutely incredible vacation home directly on the beach! The views are stunning from every room, and each bedroom has it's own balcony, perfect for watching pods of dolphins all throughout the day. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and easy with no problems and the house was spotless when we arrived. We felt like we almost had the beach to ourselves at this time of the year (Nov) and being able to have our dogs with us was a huge plus!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Fort Morgan

Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, The Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

Rental Age Policy
We love people of all ages, and we want everyone to enjoy our homes.  However, we do require that an adult 25 years or older reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25.  We have no exception to this policy.
