"Host was responsive to messages and was able to direct us to someone who spoke better english when help with navigation to the hotel was requested. However, the hotel was never provided on the vrbo page, so the initial address sent us to the incorrect area of the property and we had to circle the area and call the host to direct us to the accurate location. Upon arrival, the host was not on site and his mother checked us in. The pool was a HUGE disappointment. We booked this place...

"Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem kleinen Ort mitten im historischem Zentrum. Sie ist nur über diverse Treppen mit ungleichen Stufen zu erreichen. Die Wohnung gehört zu einem Hotelprojekt, so dass man -wenn man möchte- auch auf dem "Dorfplatz" bzw. dort in einem Restaurant frühstücken und zu Abend essen (es gibt ein täglich wechselndes Menu) kann. Im Übrigen gibt es nur ein weiteres Restaurant, dass fußläufig zu erreichen ist, jedoch jetzt im Oktober 2021 auch nur an den Wochenenden geöffnet...

"This Medieval Village was so good on everything, staring with staff people and the owner was extremely polite and very courteous with me and my wife. We were in Calabria for 10 days we had stay in about 3 different hotels in the area, this was the best one we stayed and I wish we knew about it before, but we are coming back next year. "For Gugliermo and I it was like a blanket or a shawl placed on us from our ancestors . We were in the present and past simultaneously. Gabriella and Gianfranco have taken on a Herculean task of reconstructing this charming hillside village home by home. Gianfranco and his brothers grew up there so there souls are one with the commune. The charm and authenticity of each casa is pure and perfect. The dinner Gabriella and Gianfranco made for us will be one we will always remember. Pure Calabrian....

"Great location vs the old city center, beach and railway station. Nice and clean hotel. Two improvement areas; internet is not very good (male receptionist meant since it worked in the reception area is was ok all over the hotel, they also told there where only one router in the hotel and since I was the only one telling them there was no problem - then after 2 days there where some guys fixing the router outside my room… honesty is always the best answer). Another issue was that the gym was not free - first time I have experienced to have to pay for it - no info on the website about this!"
