"I just needed a bed and a shower close to some of the 14'ers, and then ended up in this true western style hotel. Much better than your average motel and the host was really friendly. Homemade cookies for breakfast and you name it. And access to Guanelle pass and Torrey's and Gray's are just a few miles away."

"Outstanding stay in historic home in keystone with beautiful grounds and wonderful staff. We were given a tour when we arrived and offered use of a gorgeous fireplace (ready to light) and sitting room, but we decided to take a walk and sit on patio overlooking pond instead. "This stay was a splurge for us, but was wonderful to spend Christmas together with our boys who are in their 20's. We actually got delicious takeout from a favorite restaurant, drank wine, and played games around the table with the fireplace going. They enjoyed having their own beds and we enjoyed the quality family time. Place was comfy and clean and close to skiing."

"I would say that this space is "ok". There are pros and cons to any vacation rental and this property is no different. The pros are location (fantastic - especially with kids), parking (easy and heated), and cleanliness. However, the fireplace does not work, the building has plumbing issues, and windows are drafty. The fireplace is a known issue and we were told the building is older and therefore it will not work. The water was shut off for a day and there is an occasional smell that comes from...
