"The Grey Owl was a precious surprise! We (3 adults) had the best room, Melody's Roost, and it was spectacular! Stained glass decor, massage beds (!), a sleeper sofa with privacy screen--it's listed for 5 but it could sleep 4 adults and 2 well behaved small children on that sofa bed. The tub and shower in the master bath are epic. The room was quiet, and the grounds were gated so parking felt as secure as my home garage! Teresa greeted us and was so sweet! "Everything was great. Just some things I didn't like was the swimming pool is very small and only is 4.5 feet deep. With teenagers that is like a kiddie pool. Elevators are slow, hot and take too lonĝ to open once stopped. Breakfast was ok.But the motel was clean, staff friendly and walking distance to beach."

"Good basic place - value. Room is sizable and had a great view to the sea. Location was amazing in regard to just crossing the street and then you were on the beach. Basic breakfast. Friendly staff."

"Beachside Motel is just simply awesome. The rooms are clean, updated with great beds and bedding and the rooms smell clean when you walk in. It is super close to the beach and the pool by the beach is awesome too. Fresh coffee in the lobby with snacks is nice too. We will definitely return. A hidden gem in the heart of Amelia Island !!"
