"Edinburgh is all stairs so we expected it but worked hard to get to the top. Lol. Lovely flat with castle views as promised. Everything was tidy and organized. It was a very nice place even tho we weren’t there very long. I’d have liked a blow dryer for my hair but there were nice space heaters so it all worked out. "

"Loved staying at Abbey Strand! Very historic building but with all modern conveniences. Quiet part of Royal Mile away from noise & traffic but easy walk to anywhere. No air conditioning but temps are generally cooler. Definitely recommend a stay when in Edinburgh."

"It was amazing and a very nice experience to stay in the flat at Market street, smack in the middle og Edinburg. Clean everywhere, well equipped kitchen (could do with salt & pepper though) :-) Nice bed and super spacius bathroom.
The place was easy to find, and yes the staircase is not very wide, but most city houses in United Kingdom has them. I will definitely come back, and recommend this place warmly.

The staff were lovely and welcoming, and everything just worked – from check-in to checkout. The location was ideal too: central enough to walk everywhere, but still peaceful enough to get a good night’s sleep (which I absolutely did – that bed was dangerously comfortable).
Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat. Would I move in permanently if they let me? Also yes.
Highly recommend – especially for those who appreciate a bit of style, a lot of comfort, and the option to cook pasta at 10pm in your pj."

"Very pleasant hotel with kind and friendly service staff as well as some nice facilities. It is located basically inside the Edinburgh University campus, which we really liked and close to the old town of Edinburgh.
Only downside was the breakfast buffet situation where there was not enough seats for everyone - regardless of which time slot you went down for breakfast. It is supposed to be a good and relaxing start to your day, but it ended up being quite a nuisance instead.
