"I stayed at the Orca Lodge for one night and it was amazing. There's all the facilities needed, including a fridge, airfryer, tv, bbq on the deck etc. and the view from the lodge is fantastic.
However, what really stood out was the exceptional kindness and service from the host (Lynne) and Tina who cleans the lodge. I accidentally left my AirPods behind after checking out and had already traveled to another island, both only accessible by ferry. They went out of their way to arrange for my AirPods to be transported on the ferry to Port McNeill and left safely at the ticket office for me to collect the next day. It must have taken considerable time and effort on their part, and I was genuinely touched by their willingness to help. This level of care and hospitality is rare and greatly appreciated.
