"My grandfather unexpectedly passed so we headed to Louisiana. The hotels in Hammond from my experience, the ones that accept dogs that is, aren’t nice at all. So I found myself looking for a VRBO rental. I found this one and boy am I glad I did. The host was great with communication, texts and messages via VRBO were responded to immediately. "Tangipahoa Parish had everything my family needed while we were visiting the area. The property was clean and had all the space my family needed for a comfortable stay. We were visiting family in the area and being able to come back to our own space with small children made the trip even better. The property owner, David, was great in making sure that we had everything we needed during our stay and communicating with us before, during, and after ou visit."

"We were looking for a place central to BR, Hammond, and Donaldsonville and the Benton properties are perfect. Convenient to get to, but far enough off the beaten path to be super quiet and cozy. "I have a family matter in town and this rental turn out to be perfect! I will be returning for.my home trips. I only stayed 3 nights. The space is as described. It's very peaceful and quiet also. "Queen beds and twin beds were lumpy, cheap mattresses. Only one bed side table in bedroom with no lamp, had to move a no switch half broke lamp with no way to turn off except unscrewing the bulb to the bedroom. There was another no switch non working lamp occupying space in the living area too. The toilet flange sat up above the flooring, so had to put a piece of cardboard under front lip to keep it from rocking. 2 of the three smoke detectors were awol. Overall I’d say the owner is satisfied...
