"Amazing food and very comfortable bed. The staff were excellent and very helpful when we added extra nights to our stay. Would of liked AC and maybe a small fridge but that’s my only criticism."

"Beautiful historic house set in peaceful countryside. The owners and staff were very friendly and attentive. We also booked the Sunday lunch which was delicious and spent the evening sitting by a log fire in a snug room with a cheeseboard and bottle of wine. Our bedroom was stunning.
We only had an overnight stay but would love to go back for a longer stay one day."

We stayed in one of the upper floor rooms which cosy and welcoming (and surprisingly cool despite the heat wave). The bed was veru comfortable and we had a fantastic night's sleep. The breakfast was devine with freshly baked bread, home made jams and a generously sized English breakfast to set you up for the day. Staying at Brampton Dales is like staying in another time...

"A last minute booking because we were visiting friends in Brigg. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The parking, meals and access out of hours all explained to us. It was very warm so the fan in the room was very much appreciated "

"Started with a warm and friendly welcome from the staff who showed me the room.
Room is fine for short stays, it's a little rough around the edges but clean and tidy and certainly good value. Note there is no tea or coffee provided but there is a kettle and shop next door so not a problem.
Would recommend it for it's excellent value! "

Reception smelled damp and could do with pot plants and flowers to brighten it up and make it smell welcoming. The room was a good size but it just seemed grubby, the surface wiring did not set a good standard, the bathroom was dated with surface wiring and pipework - not a good image. The photos on Hotels.com were from the hotel's heyday and very misleading as was the description. No...

"The room was in good condition and I liked the interior design. Great customer service both at the reception and during breakfast.
The only small complaint I have is that there was no cheese for breakfast, only sausage and egg.
