A Great Experience
The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained and spotlessly clean. There is a sense of space and lots of little areas you can take yourself off to for a little bit of privacy. Everyone who works at the hotel is friendly and authentic and without a doubt it is the Team at the Irida which made our stay that extra little bit specials. Always welcoming, willing to help and professional. We loved our stay.

Veramente un' ottima struttura sotto ogni punto di vista con rapporto qualità-prezzo molto superiore alla media di Creta. Non assegniamo il voto massimo solo perché, nonostante ci fosse stato assicurato via mail e con largo anticipo la possibilità di poter soggiornare in un appartamento situato all'ultimo piano, come avevamo espressamente richiesto, di fatto ci è stato invece assegnato il n.19, bello e pulito, ma ns. malgrado situato piano terra, fronte piscina e lato ristorante, molto rumoroso. Per tutto il resto non possiamo che fare i più sinceri complimenti. Gentilissimo anche il pensiero di prepararci un cestino da viaggio con la colazione che dovendo partire all'alba avremmo altrimenti perso. Bravi ... una svista può capitare a chiunque lavori, ma se c'è passione si sente; noi ci siamo sentiti comunque degli ospiti, non solo dei clienti, la differenza non è scontata. Torneremo sicuramente, grazie.

Really nice place and nice staff. Breakfast was really cute also. View is not that nice, there's electrical cables right in front of the hotel and the lots around the property make the view unpleasant.

Didn’t get better sea view from my room dark specially day time, need to switch light all time, feel like I am in a garage,the mosquitos make it worst,& a lots of cats around pool not too clean & not heated , breakfast is included but not top quality and little portion,coffee very weak,and no entertainment in the evenings bit sad atmosphere , need to hire a car to explore .will try different location next trip.

Dans l ensemble tout était bien . Les seuls petits désagremments sont les chiens qui jappent jour et nuit et pour ce qui est de faire des excursions manque de collaboration des responsables de l établissement. Tres bien situé pour la plage un peu de marche seulement.

Very enjoyable
Clean and comfortable self contained apartment with lovely views over the water. A short 5 minute stroll to the beach and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff and lovely breakfasts.

Appartamento deluxe
Appartamento deluxe di fronte alla spiaggia con piazzola di parcheggio accanto e accanto ad una serie di market e ristoranti. Rinnovato e nuovo con bel terrazzino sul mare. I 30 mq però non sono reali. L’appartamento si sviluppa in lunghezza con poco spazio per muoversi, inoltre l’angolo cottura non è pratico, non ha fornelli ma solo una piccola piastra ad induzione che permette al massimo la cottura di cose veloci. Non ci sono armadi, solo un appendino a vista e in tutta la casa c'è solo un cassetto. Mancano spazi per appoggiare qualsiasi cosa e il lavandino del bagno è esterno al bagno molto piccolo con una bella doccia e un water. Insomma nel complesso carino, nuovo, comodo per la location ma poco funzionale. Consigliato per vacanze brevi

Perfekter Urlaub, sehr sehr nettes Personal. Wohnung super modern und neu, balkon mit Blick aufs Meer welches direkt vor der Unterkunft ist. Lage in kleinen Städtchen mit ca. 15 Tavernen und div. Supermärkten. Alles Top. Wir wohnten in einem luxury Appartement.

Delizioso con vista mozzafiato!
Ho alloggiato con la mia famiglia 2 adulti e 2 ragazze nell’appatamento al secondo piano. I locali non sono grandissimi ma sono comunque comodi, la vista dal terrazzo è spettacolare!!! Gli appartamenti sono puliti quotidianamente con un cambio biancheria adeguato. La colazione a buffet sempre ben fornita è varia!!!! Per noi è un 10!!!

Excellent séjour dans cet établissement tenu en famille. Katarina, Georges, Anna tous sont adorables. Toujours le sourire et le sens du service. Nos deux filles de 8 ans gardent un exceptionnel souvenir de ce séjour. Piscine et chambres toujours propres. Chaque jour une petite attention après le passage des dames de ménage dans notre chambre. Vraiment, en famille ou simplement en couple, n'hésitez pas. Nous y retournerons.

Great value & setting, stylish with lovely staff
We really enjoyed staying here, two of us in a more roomy apartment. The refit of the place is very chic but it retains the warm of a family run business The communal areas are very well cared for and the pool / sun lounges perfect for lazing around. Good chill out music and lovely views make for a relaxing spot and a short walk in the evenings to all the restaurants along the beach Wifi is good in the communal areas but did not work well for us in the room but with new European rules on roaming it wasn't a problem Do bring basics like washing up liquid cloths and tea towels if you plan to eat in as there is really nothing provided. Cutlery crockery and glass is limited to the bare minimum. Very much enjoyed our stay, very few Brits lots of Dutch and Russians staying and all nice people.

Apres un sejour de deux semaines dans cet jotel nous avons aimé le calme, la vue, et un environnement agréable et bien entretenu. La plage, les commerces et resturants sont à une dixaine de minutes à pied. En gros hotel simple, familiale, et propre.

Magnifique hôtel, la localisation est très bien à 500 mètres de la plage, De l'appartement une superbe vue sur la piscine et la mer. Les lieux de l'hôtel sont propres ( appartements, piscine). Tout le personnel est accueillant. Si vous avez la chance comme nous d'être seul dans l'hôtel et de rencontrer le propriétaire, vous ne serez peut être surclassé. On garde un très bon souvenir de notre séjour. On vous recommande cette hôtel, vous ne serez pas déçu. ☺

We loved it!
Walking distance to Agia Plagia beach and shops. Bus stop to Heraklion at the door. Note; Hotel has quite a few stairs which may not be good for elderly travellers. Only few staff members speak english however they are very friendly and helpful.

Bon rapport qualité prix mais des pts negatifs
Bon hotel avec prestations sympathiques : piscine, moins de 10min a pied de la plage et du centre. Mais : si appartement type studio la proximite de la route rend le sejour un peu bruyant et SURTOUT le petit dejeuner a 5 euros est nettement inferieur aux autres rencontres pendant notre sejour qui etaient au meme prix (pas de choix, jus d orange poudre ignoble,...) Aussi a noter que si on recherche un accueil typiquement cretois c est a dire chaleureux et souriant il faut oublier.

Well kept Russian colony
This is well kept apartment hotel with nice views. The rooms are pretty basic with very limited equipment. Cleaning is six times per week. The pool area is beautiful and the garden is very well kept. To our experience, the staff was very polite and helpful. The slow Wi-Fi works only in the lobby. One has to remember that 85% of guests are from Russia and mostly young couples.
