"Rather disappointed with the Oxford. Although it was in the perfect location for proximity to downtown sporting events and areas, I'd hoped it would stand out a bit more. The hotel's bar closed early. The restaurant wasn't open for breakfast and they had a teeny tiny continental breakfast not worth writing home about. "The people at the front desk was untrained and not aware of the benefits that gold members at hotels.com have. When I explained to them that it’s a free upgrade of possible, then he said “oh yes , but unfortunately we are fully booked and it’s not possible” . And then I have to show him that that was a big lie. I could book many rooms online and it was for sure possible to upgrade me. After arguing about that , it was finally possible . "I would give this hotel a zero star for staff if I could. We arrived only to not have a room. The lady helping us said she could see the reservation, but couldn’t access it. When I asked what they could do about it so we could stay, the other lady up front looked at us, rolled her eyes, and walked away. All the rooms were booked so we had to find another place to stay. "
