"Arriving at Orchid Harbor and taking in the view, sound, and smell of the ocean across the lawn makes all of the daily stresses of the mainland melt away. The century old house is charming, welcoming, and comforting. It feels like you are staying with good friends or family. With all of the living spaces, it feels roomy and cozy at the same time and wraps around you like a hug. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs....

"We stayed here for my sister’s bachelorette. From the booking process to check-out this property was everything! The property was clean, spacious and well maintained. For hosting 12 girls, we were all very comfortable and had plenty of space throughout the house to spread out. The hot tub was a major hit for the weekend! "The location and views from the cottage are quintessential coastal Maine. Small community with lobster pound and Maine Oyster Company across the street. John is a welcoming host and eager to make sure you enjoy your stay. The cottage is great for 2 people, equipped with the basics and has a great deck to enjoy the views. Planning to return next year. Would have loved to take a kayak out with my fish rods but the water was cold and we had some rough waters that week.
