"My husband and 4 kids stayed here, and we all had a blast! Going trout fishing (which is just a drive down steep driveway and across the street) and playing in the creek all day then coming home to hot tub and grilling in the evening was amazing, lots of wildlife in the area which was very cool to see, and there was also a cherry tree close to the deck so we foraged some! April was very responsive and allowed us to extend our stay with ease. We’d definitely stay again! "

"We loved everything about this house! It sits on top of a hill with a huge dining window overlooking the valley and mountains in the distance, with blooming rhododendrons and a visiting hummingbird drinking from the feeder. It was quiet and peaceful and the kitchen was the best-stocked kitchen out of any of the probably 30 houses we've rented on vacations. It is a distance from anywhere and there are no local stores if you forgot something, but that was the only downside. We were close to...

"Beautiful property! We enjoyed our stay. House was stocked with everything we needed and more. Beds were comfortable and the views amazing! We enjoyed trout fishing and sitting by the fire. We shopped, visited Grayson Highlands State Park, Mount Jefferson Natural Area, New River State Park and Grandfather Mountain. We fished and many lakes and creeks in Lansing, West Jefferson and Blowing Rock. We shopped in Boone and West Jefferson and visited Ashe County cheese and Mast General Store. What a...
