Head out onto the front porch and enjoy the sunset over the lake or go out onto the back deck to grill up some dinner and enjoy the fresh mountain air. After sunset, gather around the fire pit to roast s'mores and tell stories with your companions.
You are in an outdoor mecca when you visit Grand Lake. From swimming, hiking, boating and fishing in the summer and snowmobiling, snowshoeing and skiing in the winter, you'll always have a good time in this charming town. In the summer head to the marina to rent a boat, into Rocky Mountain National Park to hike one of the many trails, or to the golf course. In the winter rent a snowmobile, go to the golf course for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and sledding or downhill skiing and snowboarding are just 20 minutes away at Granby Ranch or 45 minutes away in Winter Park. A canoe, cruiser bikes, and fishing poles are available for use when renting the cabin.
