"This was not what I expected for a place called a world famous resort, but if you’re looking for a clean, safe and peaceful get away this is your place. The food for dinner and breakfast was amazing. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it if you had a boat. Otherwise not so much for swimming. "

"Quaint southern bed and breakfast with lovely staff, good food, comfy beds and good vibes. They go out of their way to accommodate. This is an old 1900s boarding house made B&B. Lots of charm. You feel the history of the area and the house. We came out for a wedding at a local ranch and were more than pleased with our stay"

Caution: elevator was not working during our stay, but stairs are sturdy, wide, and have a secure handrail. "Such a cute little place. If you are in Jacksboro, this is the place to stay! They have a restaurant onsite that is absolutely delicious. I had the French dip and the au jus sauce was the best I have ever had the meat was so so good, but I wish there was more in the sandwich. The bar area had an old time saloon feel! They also have a very cute outdoor patio area to relax and eat! I will definitely be back if I’m in the area! Even if it is just for the restaurant! The rooms were cute/small but...
