The staff were very helpful with recommending places to eat and get takeaways. 4 of us shared 2 twin rooms. The place was very clean and comfortable. One of shower rooms was a little tired and could have been spruced up. Clean towels every day was much appreciated. We felt safe and secure which was very important to our overseas...

"This was my first time staying at Hillcrest and it was so lovely! The owner and her staff were extremely welcoming, the room was comfortable, breakfast was fantastic. The location is convenience to restaurants, a mall, and the beach. I will definitely be back!"

"This establishment is safe in a quiet environment next to a lot of amenities. There is a bar. There is a free breakfast. The Internet is not good, and security guards lock the main door of the building until 5:30 am. Other than that, it worth every penny we paid for."

"This is a new hotel so the facilities are in great condition. The room was huge, with an additional outdoor shower and a great view. Dinner (steak) was outstanding.
Only thing to watch out for is the road getting to the hotel. Watch out for the potholes and stray animals. "

As a wheelchair user I had the accessible room, which was the most accessible disabled room I’ve stayed while in South Africa. Roll-under sink, grab rails in the bathroom, shower seat and adjustable height shower, mini-threshold ramps. Would definitely recommend. "
