"My family has stayed at nearly every hotel on Jekyll. Our current go-to is Hampton Inn. While it doesn’t have the ocean views other hotels have, I love the tree lined boardwalk. The pool is the best part of the hotel, it is shaded and heated year round. My most recent trip to the Hampton Inn was frustrating and disappointing. The desk is usually helpful and outgoing. "The staff were very nice. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The last ghting over the sink was not bright enough when trying to apply makeup. And no place in shower to set your shampoo and soap. But as far as the grounds were beautiful! It was peaceful and relaxing. I will definitely go back."
