"The Meriton was an excellent choice for our connection with the Southport Yacht Club.
We were able to take the short walk around the coast line after a very restful sleep at the Meriton.
Would thoroughly recommend this accommodation and look for its chain in other cities. "

"Whilst this place has the 80s terracotta floor tiles it is absolutely amazing. VERY clean, GREAT location and friendly staff. FREE undercover car parking which is always a bonus.
I had a pool view room which was very spacious and I would not only recommend this place, however I would stay again! Bed was super comfy and it was quiet."

"The newly updated Sebel rooms have been very thoughtfully done, a kitchenette complete with an easy to use microwave was very handy. My pool room view on the 1st floor had a very large balcony with new furniture, a beautiful space to watch the sun setting behind Griffith St. Very comfy beds and gorgeous shower with duel showerheads (this curly haired gal has a dislike for rain shower heads 😉)
The full buffet breakfast included in the price was vast and had choices galore, even a cooking...

"This Motel didn’t meet our expectations as there was missing a washing machine on site. We therefore had to seek compensation through hotels.com. On the second night the lights went out and were not fixed for almost 24 hours which meant we had to use our phones for showers going to the bathroom and so on. When seeking compensation we only got 10% back which is better than nothing but considering that we lost a whole night we were hopping for more. The room it self had a little bit of black mold in the shower but was otherwise okay. The service was okay but the guy in the reception didn’t speak English well and talked very quietly. Overall you get what you pay for I think we were just a bit unlucky "
