"This is our third or fourth stay. We. Loved our stay. Staff were super friendly and helpful. No issues whatsoever. The resort is really family friendly with few dining options. The buffet restaurant was wonderful with heaps of options for breakfast and dinner. The Italian wasn't authentic Italian but it was ok. The only suggestion is the water slide was too cold for the kids to go on so they chose to stay in the swimming pool. So I REALLY hope that the hotel invest in heating up the water used...

"Staying at the Dorchester on the Beach was an excellent choice for our three night family getaway. The location was amazing - looking straight out across the ocean we could see and hear the ocean from both balconies. Three roomy bedrooms and three toilets and bathrooms were most appreciated. "Loved this charming boutique motel! Our oceanfront room was perfect — comfortable bed, great value, and a prime central location. It was the ideal little getaway. We really appreciated the bonus perks: onsite parking, bike hire, and super friendly staff. The daily happy hour from 4–6 was a great touch! Tucked away in a quiet spot, yet close to everything. Highly recommend!"

"Ocean view room on floor 14 was great, saw few whales from the balcony. Easy walkable location, opposite the beach! Brock communication was great and he was very pleasant and helpful. Will stay again!"

"Golden Riviera is in a prime spot on the beach and close to shops, pub and lifesaving club. The large pool is lightly heated and is exceptionally clean and beautiful. The area around the pool is inviting and attractive with loungers, umbrellas and a barbeque area. The gardens are well-kept, tranquil and lush. "Great hotel, would highly recommend. Only a couple of issues. We did not get the greating and service some other guests got. Eg bags to room and ice etc. consistency needs to be addressed. The fridge in the room could not freeze a thing, needs replacing. But again, very small things, great place for the family to stay."
