"I loved staying here! All staff is friendly and super helpful. Lobby was spotless and so was my room. They have a beautiful, huge pool that is cleaned regularly. I will stay here again and can’t wait until that day arrives. "

"This motel is on the main road (US-60 or Ash Street) but was quiet during the holiday period. It is ideally situated near Hill Street, which goes into the historic district less than a mile away. Fast food is nearby, as is hiking at Round Mountain Park. El Rey is a self-described "vintage motor court" so looks the part outside. But the interior room was large enough, the bed mostly comfortable, the spacious shower always had hot water, and the wall heater worked well, with the usual humming....

"The hotel has always been a nice room and place to stay, but this time only channel that wouldn't tune in on the TV is FOX News... called front desk and was told they would contact maintenance but nobody ever showed and issue was bever resolved. I found it odd. CNN and MSNBC both worked just fine..."
