We stayed at so many different places that I guess I just didn't check to see. But, we were a bit taken aback when after eating breakfast we were asked to settle the bill for it."

Old type lift where users have to open and close two “doors”. If doors are left open by exiting users, lift is stuck and time and effort used to identify location and close doors. More prominent instructions needed on lift."

"The hotel is located within some outstanding scenery with Loch Alvie literally on your doorstep. We were all made to feel welcome, including Dizzy the dog , and the chefs produced some delicious food as we sat near a blazing log fire.
Room and bathroom were very clean and well appointed.
The only grumble we would have is that we were charged for our dog's stay on a nightly basis, to cover additional cleaning, as opposed to per visit, you would only clean the room once even after 2 nights stay."

The owners were very helpful and friendly and gave us good local knowledge about good pubs and lovely walks to take. "Hotellet er slidt helt ned. Gulvtæpper der er meget beskidte. Løst tapet både i fællesområder og på værelset. Specielt på værelset er tæppet så slidt at man ikke har lyst til at gå barfodet. Der manglede lampeskærme. På værelset var der spildt en stor rødvinsplet på væggen og bordet, og selv om vi gjorde opmærksom på dette lige efter check in blev det ikke rengjort i løbet af de 3 dages ophold.
