"Our hosts were very friendly and offered advise regarding Storm Amy's approach, where we could see the stags locally (which we did!) and regarding returning via Bealach na Ba which we did in dense cloud on the way in. We took the coast road back as the weather was worsening and the view non existent! Our room was very comfortable and cosy with underfloor heating in the bathroom. "My stay was unfortunately very short. I arrived late and had to leave early. But I enjoyed every minute of my stay. On arrival the receptionist greated me warmly and arranged a fast dinner. The food was really good and the service great. The room was spacious and cosy and the bed was comfortable. I am happy to recommend this hotel. Only comment I have is: when I arrived it was dark and there was very little light outside. Please install some lamps at the parking area."

Ved middag - kommer man ind i aristokratisk lokale med dybe sofaer og venter på at blive kaldt ind - bord for bord efter at have bestilt middagen... Man tilbydes også en velkomstdrink - og får uden at have bestilt det nogle smagsprøver... De kommer på regningen med 15 £ pr. person! Så vær meget OBS på, hvad man vil... For resten tilbydes man også her KUN en 4 retters menu til 45 £ pr. person + drikkevarer, selv...

"The hotel was in a very bad condition, the pictures looks alright but the hotel was really old and nothing wrong with that, but if it was renovated within the last 10 years would maybe be better. The price compared to what you get is completely insane. The beds where so terrible you could feel all the springs in your back and we couldn’t control the heat on our room. "

"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. The apartment was spacious with a full kitchen. We cooked dinner and Ida had even left us a wee...

"This little cottage was so cute. It was well equipped with everything we needed for a few days. It was within walking distance to a convenient store that had plenty of food options. Close enough to isle of Skye for some day trips!"
