Highlights for our group of 18 family and relatives include: evening gatherings around the two peat-burining fireplaces with a variety of Irish Whiskeys; a very short walk to the pubs and restaraunts in Clifden, having a chef cook a delicious dinner in our own kitchen for all of us to enjoy, sightseeing all around Connemara; golf at the Connemara Links course just 15 minutes away; and wonderful pub visits out in the country...especially Paddy Coynes pub...

"This well appointed immaculate home provided all the comforts of home for our group of golfers from the USA. The beds were SO comfortable and the separate bathrooms for each bedroom were a real bonus. The property is tucked away in the beautiful, quiet West Ireland countryside and yet is only a five minute drive from the town center. "We enjoyed our time here and the location and view truly cannot be beat! To address some items mentioned in others reviews: When we got there there was a musty smell, as others have mentioned, but it did get better over our time there. The heat was off and it was extremely cold on our arrival, and I feel like living there and keeping it warmed up helped the situation. "It is a really good house for a group of up to 10 people. It's three minutes from Westport by car and easily walkable too. The house overall was extremely comfortable and well equipped. The beds were really good quality and comfortable too. The only thing I would suggest is it would be great to have a few additional en suites but it worked well as it was for our group. We all agreed that we would happily rebook The Rocks were we to return to Westport again."
