  • One of six apartments in the Glasgow Collection, this peaceful first floor one bedroom river view home with free on street parking is situated close to the West End and Glasgow City Centre

    Located in a quiet oasis it is surrounded by trees and shrubs with the only noise being that of the river. The home is a 17 minute walk to the Botanic Gardens and the West End with its stunning architecture, high end shopping, top class restaurants and outstanding cafe culture.

    This home is an ideal base for couples or friends wishing to explore Glasgow and the surrounding area. Spend time enjoying all that the city has to offer and then relax and recharge in this quiet oasis next to the River Kelvin in the West End of Glasgow.

    This modern, comfortable first floor home is situated in a quiet cup-de-sac within a well managed private housing area. With managed gardens to the front and rear this home has main door entry and free on street parking.

    The main front door leads into a hallway with stairs up to the lounge door. This door opens into a spacious and bright lounge which has a a comfortable sofa, a sofa bed and features a stylish dining space with a glass dining table and four chairs. It is equipped with a smart satellite TV with on demand apps such as BBC iPlayer and has fast internet access. The lounge leads to an internal hallway from which the bedroom is accessed. The comfortable double bedroom has a double bed with a built in mirrored wardrobe containing drawers offering plenty of storage space.

    The bathroom has a contemporary three piece white suite and shower over the bath. The kitchen is equipped to a high standard and has a fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave.

    We provide tea, coffee and other essentials such as salt & pepper and olive oil to make your stay more comfortable. Hotel standard cotton bed linen and towels are provided for all guests. For your safety there are interconnected smoke alarms and a heat detector, a carbon monoxide detector and a fire extinguisher. If travelling by car the house can be easily reached from the M8, M74 and M77 motorways otherwise Bridgeton Train station is an 5 minute walk away,

    The home is a 15 minute walk to Kelvindale Station which has regular trains to Glasgow City Centre taking 20 minutes and is next to the National Cycle network 756. The home is a 10 minute drive to Glasgow University and a 20 minute drive to Strathclyde University. It is a 15 minute drive to the SECC / The Hydro

    Guests have full use of this self contained home.

    We do not allow stag parties, hen parties, smoking or pets.

    We live a short drive away so are available if required.

    The home is close to the famous West End which is renowned for its stunning architecture, high end shopping, top class restaurants, bustling trendy night life, thriving art scene and an outstanding cafe culture

    Travel time to the airport is under 25 minutes with the express shuttle a 20 minute train ride away. Queen Street Station is 20 minute train ride away from Kelvindale Station offering 4 trains an hour to Edinburgh along with other destinations throughout Scotland. Travelling south is easy with Central Train Station also being a 20 minute train ride away from Kelvindale Station offering an hourly service to London Euston.

    The home is strictly non smoking and we would ask that you abide by this request
    Pets are not allowed

    Do not remove linen or towels from the wardrobe area - any removals will be charged to you

    Please keep noise levels down between the hours of 22:00 and 08:00

    Please respect neighbours when entering and leaving the building

    Any breakages must be reported

    No smoking or drug use (** £100 cleaning charge taken from security deposit if there has been smoking in the flat**)

    No parties, stag nights or hen nights

    Please do not cut anything or put a hot pot directly in the work surface. Pot stands and chopping boards are provided for this purpose. There is also a glass worktop saver.

    Ensure you have left the apartment by 11am on the day of check out

Lovely peaceful, riverside location

After a long trip from Australia, this property was just the place to recover from jet lag. Its position was great for us as it is near the family we are here to see. It is also within easy walking range to the Westend and the Botanic Gdns. Comfortably furnished and well equipped. We are booking in again.

Great Property

Nice property, in a quite street, which backs onto the river Kelvin. Not far from the city centre, with local shops and takeaways 5 minutes walk away. Well equipped for long stays. Lots of cooking equipment.

We’ve stayed in over 70 online vacation rentals and this place is adequate, but definitely not exceptional. I loved the view of the trees and river, but that was about it. It was clean enough, but it is very lived in (stained and/or saggy).I have some mobility issues (bad knees). The 1 flight of stairs was ok, but the bed was VERY low, making it uncomfortable/difficult to get in and out of. We booked for 3 nights and left after one.

Great location next to the River Kelvin

Flat is in a superb location next to the River Kelvin with super easy access to shops and walking paths along the River Kelvin and Forth & Clyde Canal taking you just about anywhere you need to go. I had a great time enjoying the walking options in all directions. We had a car but it was a short walk to bus stops and train stations. The flat was clean and well stocked. I would strongly suggest this flat for one or two persons only. We had our adult son with us and it was definitely cramped for three.

Great Stay On the River Kelvin

Wonderful flat in a quiet apartment complex With a door that opens onto the River Kelvin. Everything that I needed was provided by the property manager. Great communication. One thing to note is that the property is not directly on a transit line. Buses are a medium walk away. Great spot if you are a walker or have a car. Ubers were readily available and took me where I wanted to go quickly and affordably.
