"Family of 4, girls enjoyed the spa whilst the boys went swimming. Could do with a few more options but I believe there's plans to extend the spa area in the near future. Would recommend for a short break. Adjoining tea room serves great food during the day but no dinner service, with very nice service - highly recommended. "

"The staff were excellent. The Xmas decorations lovely. Made to feel very welcome. The food I had was excellent. There is a nice bar attached just refitted, Underfloor heating in the bathroom is a nice touch also. One of the few hotels I have had a decent sleep in their beds. It is on a busy road so during the week the traffic starts around 6.30 but not really an issue as I would be be getting up for work. They make really good proper scramble eggs for breakfast. Continental and full cooked...

I tried to call the reception to give my complaint to the restaurant, they would not put me through to the restaurant but promised that the Hotel manager would get back to me shortly, after two days still no call back. "

It was charming, spacious, clean, and equipped with all one could want for a self-catering accommodation. The grounds were amazing, full of flowers, vegetable patches green house, and the list goes on. Our hosts were so nice as they helped us figure out how to run the washer/dryer (that they had never used themselves). Top notch in every way. "
