History buffs will be spoilt for choice with an array of beautiful, historic castles in the local area, including Culzean, Blairquhan, and Dalquharran (all within 14 miles). Golfers are also well catered for with the championship course of Turnberry (2.5 miles). Those who love life on the water can enjoy a scenic boat trip around Ailsa Craig Island from Girvan Harbour (7 miles) or catch the ferry to the mystical Isle of Arran from Troon (25 miles).

Hang your coats and kick off your walking boots in the spacious entrance hallway that welcomes you, then head into the cosy lounge to unwind after a day’s adventure; flick on the Smart TV and sink into the soft furnishings. When stomachs rumble, move through to the light-filled kitchen/diner, where sleek features and modern appliances combine to offer a well-appointed space for cooking up and enjoying Scottish feasts together.
