"A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. We enjoyed the food and the service was really nice and kind. Ashley is a character and brings some personality to the table. It’s very isolated but it’s possible to get a Tuktuk...

"It was a great stay - the hotel is small and very nice with a beautifull view to the plantations and mountains. There is a completely new road which makes it easy to reach the hotel. Much better than staying at a hotel in Nuwara Elliya."

"It was a great stay. The service and food were amazing. The location is great for hiking and biking. Also it would be a great location for honeymoons as the view outside the hotel is spectacular. Highly recommended. "

"Amazing place in old colonial villa. Big clean cottages, beautiful setting in garden with spices, herbs and fruits. The young energetic manager were kind to take us on a two hour walk among farms og rice paddys, tasting spices and seeing kingfisher birds, turtles and lizards. Nice pool and beautiful view over the tea valley. In the morning just birds chipping away and in the evening crickets and fireflies+the a few dogs barking. Great breakfast and attentive staff. "We stayed in the Araliya Suite 24.2-27.2. Which was absolutely spotless and modern. We loved having our own private pool, sauna, and river view, where we even went swimming a few times.
The staff was incredibly friendly, especially Indunil. He arranged an adventure for us to the waterfalls, a short jungle hike, and also acted as a guide to a nearby cave. He also guided us to safely swim at the waterfall behind the hotel. And to top it all off, he arranged a candlelight dinner by the river! Five...
