Surrounded by lush greenery, this holiday home is a spacious townhouse located on the outskirts of the pretty town of Gignese. The property features a private garden with a BBQ, ideal for alfresco mealtimes or simply relaxing in the sun.

Inside, the property is arranged over 4 floors with a well-equipped open plan reception-kitchen-dining area that opens through French Doors to the garden. This area is furnished with a comfortable double sofa bed, a Smart flatscreen digital TV and a dining table. The modern kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a fridge-freezer. Ideal for family gatherings, this area is also equipped with a library of board games, chess, a PlayStation 4, Apple TV and Lego building blocks! There are even Acoustic and classical guitars available for use. During the Winter season, the property also provides comfortable sledges for children, which can be used free of charge on the snow of Mottarone.

Location

This holiday home is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Gignese. Surrounded by forests, this location offers some wonderful hiking and mountain biking through the trees with spectacular lake views, a quieter, less crowded option than many of the nearby lakeside towns. Visitors will also find the Golf Club Alpino di Stresa, a 4-minute drive away (15-minute walk). For children, the Alpyland Mottarone Adventure Park and Alpine Coaster is a 22-minute drive from the accommodation.

Nearby Stresa (a 10-minute drive) is best known for its grand Art Deco villas and elegant hotels. Its lakefront promenade gives visitors the perfect location for admiring both the lake and the town. From the pier in Piazza Marconi, guests can catch a ferry and take a day trip to the Borromean Islands and explore their beautiful villas, gardens and churches. Stresa also hosts many international cultural festivals, including cinema and music, and the weekly market (Friday mornings) is a treasure trove for the best local produce.

There are two local restaurants within a minute\'s walk of the accommodation, as well as a grocery store and a supermarket less than a 5-minute walk away.

The closest international airport is Milan’s Malpensa airport, a 50-minute drive.
