"Lo Zafferaneto is an amazingly beautiful property with carefully decorated and furnished rooms (everything is spotlessly clean). All staff are extremely friendly and make you feel welcome and at home immediately. If you are a foodie you are in the right place! The owner is an absolutely fantastic chef (I highly recommend the boar ragu and deconstructed tiramisu). Breakfast is also very delicious. The place is quite remote in the mountains, it’s quiet and peaceful, but you will definitely need...

"Wonderful location in a 16th-century palazzo on a quiet street just off the main square at the beautiful hilltop town of Caltagirone. The hotel did not provide breakfast, but the owner pointed us to a great breakfast place on the main square. Very friendly and helpful owner, clean and comfortable room. Highly recommended!"

"Bortset fra at der ikke var noget vindue ud til det fri, kun til en overdækket atriumgård, var B&B'en som sådan fin nok. Men selv om Caltagirone ser flot ud på afstand, så er den møgbeskidt og med mindre, at man er keramikinteresseret, har den ikke meget at byde på i forhold til så mange andre af Siciliens byer."

The staff both in reception and the restaurant was very friendly and professional and the hotel had the perfect location in terms of access to the historical centre and easy parking. On top of it it was very good value for money. Strongly recommended. "

"Stedet er påbegyndt nedslidning af især værelsesdelen. Personalets sprogkundskaber er under middel i forhold til den klasse stedet gerne vil befinde sig i. Menukortet har lav standard, dog er morgenmaden meget flot. Husk paraply hvis det regner, da der ikke er overdækket mellem reception og værelsesfløj. P-pladserne er for få i forhold til kapacitet. Nogle af stierne er ikke egnede til at køre bagagen - 3 stjerner med en pil opad - for dyrt i forhold til det man får"
