Welcome to our house in **Borgo Santa Chiara**, a small, well-kept hamlet in the hills of Gavorrano, on the edge of Il Pelagone Golf Club in the Maremma.

Borgo Santa Chiara is a quiet cluster of only ten houses, each with its own garden, set among shared paths, common gardens and a 20-metre communal pool. The setting is peaceful rather than busy: a hillside position surrounded by protected woodland, with open views across the golf course and, on clear days, toward the forested interior and the Tyrrhenian Sea as far as Elba.

Our house is designed for families and groups of friends who want space and an easy rhythm. There are three bedrooms — one with a full/double bed and two with twin beds — so guests can spread out comfortably. Three bathrooms, each with a shower and bidet, add convenience and privacy; one of them also has a bathtub for a longer soak after a day outdoors. Heating and air conditioning keep the house comfortable year-round, whether you come in high summer or in the quieter months.

Days here can be as slow or as active as you like. Stay at the house and use the garden, terrace and shared pool. Walk the grounds. Play golf next door at Il Pelagone. Or take the car out for short trips: Bagno di Gavorrano is about 10 minutes away for cafés, restaurants, a grocery shop and a pharmacy. The coast — Follonica, Punta Ala, Castiglione della Pescaia — is roughly 20–30 minutes by car. Massa Marittima is around 20 minutes inland, Grosseto about 25, Siena about an hour.

This is a good base if you want both rest and variety: mornings by the pool, afternoons in a medieval town or on the beach, evenings back in a calm house that still feels like home. Borgo Santa Chiara gives you the quiet of the countryside without being cut off from the best of the Maremma.
