Directions and check-in were very easy and convenient. When we walked in the cabin, it was chilly. The thermostat screen was black and would not come on. The hot tub temperature was 43 degrees Fahrenheit. We attemped to call the property manager for assistance to no avail. After googling additional phone numbers & leaving a message at each one, a very kind woman returned the call. Said she would send a maintenance person. The maintenance person was very friendly and professional. He was able to fix the heat (a fuse was blown). He stayed long enough to make sure it did come on, and he checked the hot tub. He informed us it would take a while for it to heat back up. By the evening time, the hot tub temp was in the 70's, but no where near a comfortable temp for usage. The hot tub was a main reason we chose this quaint cabin, and we couldn't even use it the first day and a half. The kitchen cabinets were grimy with grease build up. If you turned the kitchen faucet on all the way, water leaked out everywhere from the handle so you could only turn on a trickle of water in the kitchen. The bathroom had hair and dust behind the door. The shower pressure was barely enough to rinse off soap. The jacuzzi tub faucet dripped non-stop and timer knob was broken. We attempted to fill it when we realized we wouldn't be able to use the hot tub, but weren't able to due to lack of water pressure. We have never left a poor review, but this was the worst place we have ever stayed.
