    Escape to the beautiful Smoky Mountains at Rustic River Condo, located in Chalet Village just minutes from Ober Gatlinburg, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and downtown Gatlinburg. This cozy mountain vacation rental combines comfort, convenience, and tranquility, making it perfect for couples, families, or small groups looking to explore the area’s best attractions.

    Relax in the peaceful setting of Buckberry Creek, best enjoyed from your private balcony, unwind by the stone wood-burning fireplace, or take a dip in the seasonal pool just steps from your door. Nestled near hiking trails, ski slopes, and the area’s top shopping and restaurants, this condo is ideal for both adventure and relaxation.

    LIVING SPACES
    Start your day with coffee on the balcony overlooking the creek or enjoy warm summer days by the pool. On cooler evenings, cozy up by the fireplace with a book or stream your favorite shows and movies with cable and popular streaming services. The living area offers comfortable seating, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the Smoky Mountains.

    COOKING & DINING
    The fully equipped kitchen includes full-size appliances, cookware, utensils, a microwave, toaster, and both a Keurig and traditional drip coffee maker. K-cups and a selection of teas are provided. The breakfast counter seats three, with additional seating for two at the charming log dining table. Chalet Village Market is within walking distance for any last-minute needs.

    A communal charcoal grilling area is available on the ground level near the creek. Guests provide their own charcoal.

    SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS & BATHROOM
    The newly renovated master bedroom is designed with comfort in mind and features a luxurious Nectar mattress for an exceptional night’s sleep. Additional guests can use the queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

    The bathroom offers a tiled tub/shower combination, travel-size shampoo, conditioner, and soap, along with ample vanity storage.

    The condo features keyless entry, and your access code will be provided after booking.

    IMPORTANT ACCESSIBILITY NOTE:
    The condo is located on the pool level and requires navigating 16 stairs from the parking area to enter. There is no elevator, and the property may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations.

This was a great location for exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It was clean and well appointed. Check in and departure procedures were easy & clear. Laurie was helpful with good communication throughout booking and our stay. The bed was excellent; just the right blend of firm & soft. The multicade was a fun touch.

The condo was perfect and exactly what we needed! The space was well equipped, clean, and cozy. The mountain and stream made the venue picturesque. We would 100% stay here again.

This was the perfect getaway for us! My nephew was able to sleep on the pull out couch and I slept in the bedroom. We loved the creek nearby and the soothing sounds as we sat out on the balcony.

We enjoyed our stay! Condo has everything that we needed and more! We were very pleased with the condo overall! Air hockey machine is not there but the arcade machine made up for it! The host responded back almost immediately lol ….. no complaints from us! We’ll be back very soon for another stay here!

Best location for what we had planned. Only about 10 min drive to smoky mountain national park, about 15 mins to Pigeon Forge, and only an hour and 10mins from Knoxville airport (TYS).We have already talked about coming back to this exact location in the future! And to top it off the back porch is perfect for sipping coffee and watching/listening to the creek during breakfast. It’s so great. Quit searching. This is the place for you!

We had a wonderful time!!! The property was well kept, and the fireplace was our favorite part. Host had quick response to any questions we had. It was a great stay for us. Looking forward to next year.

Loved it!

The owners we’re great to communicate with, the place was nice, clean, the pool was awesome, and the view from the balcony was so peaceful. We loved it here and would stay again!

The condo is perfect for my husband and myself, though we were disappointed the air hockey was not in the condo. We’re competitive like that. We’ll definitely be back.

The decor was my style - loved the bears and cabin decorations! A couple minor cleaning details: The top of the frig needed cleaning before I could put things up there for a place to keep them until needed. Most people probably would not look under the bed, but I had a tennis ball roll under there when I was exercising my feet, and it was pretty dusty. We also were a little worried we would run out of bathroom tissue, but we didn't. An extra roll would have been nice to alleviate the concern. A couple of new kitchen towels would also be nice. We appreciated the Folger's coffee grounds that were provided. We enjoyed our stay there, and the surrounding area. We saw 59 bears during the week - mostly in Cades Cove! We went to Cades Cove every day of the week. We even saw a mama bear and three babies. They were fun to watch! We also saw lots of turkeys, a few squirrels, some deer, a bunch of crows, and a pretty falcon. Thanks so much for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains!!

This is a lovely accommodation for a small family. My husband, son and I were very comfortable with room to spread out and relax, especially after a busy day in the National Park or Gatlinburg. The condo was very clean and well maintained. It was nice to sit out on the balcony and listen to the stream and sounds of nature. The owner was very responsive, helpful and cordial. If we make it to thay area again, we would definitely consider staying again.

Wonderful place with fun amenities

We enjoyed our stay here in this rustic feeling condo! The air hockey and arcade machine as well as fireplace were a nice touch but even more so loved the signs about hiking as that is one of our favorites and the cozy table. Great location but be careful going up that road when icy (and down). Also it was a bit drafty near the outside well of the bedroom but the furnace heats it up quickly.

Laurie was very gracious and responsive to every concern. This is a lovely condo, older but a beautiful location and very peaceful. We had easy access to all nearby areas and this is an excellent "home base" for exploring the Gatlinburg area. We were not prepared with extra dishwasher detergent, trash bags, etc., so make sure to bring or buy enough for your stay if you're staying more than 3 nights. The discount on the condo more than makes up for it, to be fair.The only negative is this:The cleaning service missed the dishwasher check before we arrived. I opened it to look it over and the smell was bad. I discovered that the filter was clogged and the bottom was filled with white slimy liquid. I scrubbed out the filter and ran the machine x2 on the hottest setting, to get the odor out. My guess is that a previous guest had used the machine without scraping the dishes and it wasn't caught. Any machine gets that way, if the filter isn't regularly checked. We let Laurie know and she was clearly caught by surprise. I think the poor cleaning person was, too! By the way, since this is an old building AND in a rain forest, you willcome across the occasional millipede. I lived in western TN previously and they are everywhere, lol!I would highly recommend the condo to anyone that is looking for a private and quiet place to relax and rest, in between adventures! The price is well worth it. Thank you Laurie, we would rent again!

Lovely base for visiting Gatlinburg

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were visiting Gatlinburg with our 4 year old for a few days. The property was very clean and comfortable with good amenities. The pool was very welcome after hot days out visiting the local area. We saw some bears in the area outside the balcony which was a great experience. It’s a short drive into Gatlinburg / pidgeon forge and up into the mountains. There was lots to see and do to occupy us during our 5 day stay. The owner responded to any queries quickly. Overall would recommend.

Family first time trip to Tennessee

Our family really enjoyed this property. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance, it does need some work and updates. The condo itself is very nice. We could've used some oven gloves and a pizza cutter. The games were a hit with my boys and the sound of the stream running through the property was very relaxing. The condo was clean,easy to find and a great place to get some rest.

Nice getaway spot.

We enjoyed our little getaway at Rustic River condo. The host Laurie could not have been more responsive or kind. The outside was a little underwhelming but the unit itself was clean and nicely furnished the kitchen was well equipped the bed was nice and comfortable. Overall it was quite a cozy spot. The balcony with a view of the creek was relaxing and the unit was close to the nat. park and all the Gatlinburg attractions. We were quite please with our stay at this unit and would definitely stay here again.
