Cozy, mountainside cabin with beautiful views! Wake up and enjoy your coffee in one of the rocking chairs overlooking the mountainside. Surrounded by trees and nature you will get the serenity of the mountainside with also being a short drive to most attractions. The best-of both worlds! The large dining table allows for family dinners and game nights. Each bedroom offers its own bathroom for extra privacy. There are 2 queen bedrooms and 2 king bedrooms. The entire cabin is on one floor. Enjoy the indoor fireplace or the outdoor firepit. Then, relax in the outdoor hot tub and unwind playing a few games indoors! Pet friendly with a $200 pet fee. We only allow up to two dogs that are under 20 pounds. For guest safety, property security, and liability purposes, the cabin is equipped with exterior security cameras—one located near the grill area and one facing the patio and mountain view. There are no cameras inside the cabin or in any private areas.

Lots of space, very comfortable, my adult children LOVED the pool table & video games. But seeing a Momma bear with 2 cubs come out of the woods behind the house, walk around & down in front of the house, then on out the driveway to the road was the BEST

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! With everything being on one level, it made it feel cozy! Each room having its own bathroom was a nice touch! The shower glass shower door in one of the bathrooms was a bit hard to open, but was still accessible. They had several pots and pans for cooking, as well as utensils. I will say the knives were a bit dull, so it was hard to cut things but that’s nothing that can’t be fixed. The view was incredible! Everything was clean and organized! We will be staying here again!

The cabin is awesome, so many bears greeted us on the very first day within minutes of arrival. The views are out of this world. Gordon and Courtney are the best hosts. Very responsive. I would highly recommend. Thank you guys

Great for all ages!

We arrived on Monday and on Tuesday and Wednesday we got to see a black bear that had come up on the deck, it was amazing to see that so up close! The teenagers we had loves the video games and pool table. The whole family enjoyed the hot tub, the fireplace and the amazing view! Plenty of room for the whole family. I will say the only drawback is how steep the driveway is but thats common in that area. The hosts were amazing and very quick to reapond to any questions. I can honestly say the hosts were the most prompt and nice hosts I've encountered in all my years using vrbo.

Great cabin!

Everything was great and as described. Great cabin and great hosts. The gondola down is within walking distance and we saw 5 bears on this trip! The only thing that I must mention, and it applies to the entire neighborhood not this cabin, is that if you have a fear of heights like I do then be careful. The higher up cabins require driving along narrow roads with no guardrails and for me personally, this was terrifying. Again, that's my issue and not the hosts' problem, but it is worth mentioning for anyone who would find that useful.

Absolutely amazing

The only issue is the narrow roads but you get used to it. Recommend having a 4 wheel drive. Other than that it was amazing and clean! Definitely would recommend. Beautiful view.

Panoramic view cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The view of the mountains was just gorgeous. I really loved the layout of this cabin. It was perfect for me and four teens. Each bedroom had their own bathroom. My teens and I enjoyed the pool table and arcade games too. Only negative was the drive way. My car is not 4 wheel drive and would slide some going up to the cabin, especially if roads were wet. The drive way is at a steep incline and a difficult angle. I would just go past the road to turn to cabin and turn around to get onto the road in front of cabin.

Family Vacation

Online listing was somewhat misleading or may need to be updated. Only one deck and one level. Driveway was steep but got used to it after a couple times. Large dining room table was nice but kitchen was a bit small. Bathroom in every bedroom was nice but jacuzzi tubs were outdated and not functional. Needed to contact owner about loose railings and they were very responsive and issue resolved quickly. Pool table and games were a plus.

Great vacation property

Yhe cabin was a great size for our group, 6 adults and 1 child. The game area gave us lots of distractions, the views were amazing, several of us enjoyed the hot tub repeatedly and the fireplace was cozy. Some things worth mentioning are that it is on a steep incline, there is plenty of parking, but some of it is at the bottom of the hill and there arent steps up, the wood floors mean that sound travels in the house, but not terribly. There is ample dining space and sitting areas. We had an issue with the dishwasher, but it was resolved very quickly. The hosts were very responsive and i appreciated that a lot. .

Beautiful view, plenty of space, easy entertainment

Amazing cabin for a family! Beautiful view! My family group of 6 adults, 1 teen, 1 toddler, and two dogs fit easily into four bedrooms (each with its own full bathroom) with plenty of room to spread out and play pool, watch Disney, relax in the large hot tub, cook and eat, or play with toys on the floor in front of the fireplace. We thoroughly enjoyed our family-time at this chalet, throwing snowballs and watching our dogs frolic in the snow. And when we were ready to ski, we were minutes from Ober Mountain. Two of us and the baby weren’t skiing, so we took the tram down to Gatlinburg to shop. We returned on the tram in time to upgrade our tram pass to a wristband and play at Ober. This chalet made it easy to enjoy a family vacation with its location, views, plenty of space, easy entertainment (pool, games, tv/movies, wi-fi), large relaxing hot tub, a convenient assortment of coffee, cocoa and even a few quick-grab snacks on the table. Their spice rack helped put the finishing touches on dinner and made it feel like a real sit-down family meal. The driveway is a bit steep, but the owners left bags of salt. The tubs in two of the bedrooms could probably be upgraded, but everything was clean and fresh, so nobody minded. We stayed cozy and happy throughout the snowfall, and made it up and down the mountain to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, and up to Ober Mountain skiing on well cleared roads. The owners were easy to contact and responded quickly to questions.

Get Stay in Gatlinburg

The best things about our winter family trip were how close the VRBO was to the mountain where the teenagers snowboarded every day and the comfort of the home. It was a wonderful trip! Teri
