"The house and backyard was a lovely little getaway from the city and very close to the Indiana Dunes National/State Park. Spent a lot of time on the back deck enjoying the backyard, bird feeders, and listening to the owls beyond the train tracks. The firepit and gazebo made it enjoyable, even as it rained. The house itself was clean and has everything you needed. Highly recommend."

"House itself is very cool and stylish and comfortable in all areas. It’s early spring and the property yard and outdoor areas listed were not cleaned, wet and damaged or in unusable condition. Fortunately the windows clearly showed off the beautiful trees around the property from inside. Note the very large cleaning fee is not revealed on the listing."

"The neighborhood is serene and have thoughtful neighbors to the back. The home is well kept and has many gadgets from the NInja coffee maker to the NInja grill to mention a few. It was a treat to use... it was delightful to see as we are frequent VRBO people and usually find the basics. Our host did an excellent job of blending hotel amenities with home style options! "The house has some character (in a good way). Nice ambiance with some added lights. VERY comfy master bed. The fire pit propane was empty, but the owner was extremely responsive and brought us a new one in short order. The only downside was the proximity to the railroad, which had trains coming every 15-20min at some points.. wasn’t terrible, but a minor nuisance. Overall the stay was great."

"My family and I enjoyed a relaxing stay at Dunehaven! We wanted to visit Indiana State Dunes to experience a beach made from a natural lake. It was cold in May, but didn't stop of from enjoying the sun and sand. The hot tub was easy to use and firepit at night was needed after a long day. The home was clean, inviting and the beach was so close. Literally, it was just a two minute drive. I recommend getting out and exploring the road towards the Michigan state line. Michigan City is only thirty...

"The property was clean, spacious, and in a great area central to many attractions including the Dunes! Neighborhood felt extremely safe! There was 8 of us total (4 kids, 4 adults) and we never felt cramped. Robert was wonderful to work with. Would stay here again!"
