It wasn't a perfect place but the owner obviously cares about the property and the guests. Based on price it was more than expected. 10 minutes from Mosquito State Park and close to many great eateries. This place is in the middle of a nice quiet neighborhood.... "This was a great place for our family of 8 to stay while visiting the historic sites in Kirtland. It was clean and cozy and very convenient. We really appreciated the thought put into providing everything we needed while there. The bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, soaps, and plenty of towels. "Our host Molly, was communicative and helpful. She made us feel welcome by leaving us some farm fresh eggs and a zucchini bread to get our next morning off to a good start.The home was very clean and lovingly restored.I gave our stay a 4 star instead of a 5 because of the mattresses and pillows. The mattresses were too soft and uncomfortble. We thought maybe it was our 60 plus bodies but my 30 something daughter felt the same way. "

The property is in the middle of a parking lot without any of its own outdoor space, but the inside more than makes up for that. Just be aware of the setting if you prefer more privacy.
